A local lad from Carronshore, based in Falkirk. This place was filled with predominantly council houses and flats.  However, most properties had small but well kept gardens.

From as early as a teenager I enjoyed working outdoors and helping my dad with garden chores. As I grew older I started to get the hang of using garden machinery.

One of my older friends who was involved in the industry was able to drive and had his own mower so we came up with the idea of working together on gardens at the weekends with just some basic tools.

Unfortunately, my friend got a different job after leaving school as working outdoors was not for him, this meant I had to go it alone. I began chapping doors while doing gardens for people I knew. This involved using basic equipment and my mums car.

However, I was starting to build a list of regular clients.  It was from this point I started to believe I could create a business out of this.

I like the idea of making extra money out of something I enjoy doing.  Moving forward I got a relative who wanted to assist who had been working in the industry for over 10 years. This meant that bringing him out with me on jobs I was able to learn as I go and accumulate more experience.

Following this, as the last 12 months went on I was working every spare hour I had on my business venture.

Then in 2023 I decided I was going to turn this into a professional business after spending countless hours planning from my bedroom.

I now have plans to evolve the business and its services as I grow with it. I will be recording the journey and putting it out to the world via social media and my website so stay tuned for the journey.
